Have you got the Xbox 360’s dreaded E74 Error. Well you need not worry my friend, in this article I will show you how you can fix the E74 Error without sending it off for two months.
The problem may just be your AV cable. The first thing you can try, is unplugging the AV cable and blowing out any dust that may be built up in the connections. Then try plugging it back in and turning it on.
If the problem isn’t solved try getting a new AV cable, or you can borrow one from a friend so that you don’t buy a new cable if this is not the solution either. When you have the new AV cable, plug it in, switch on your Xbox 360 and if the error still occurs then it means your problem is more complex than the AV cable issue.
To fix this you should get a repair guide. You can find Xbox 360 repair guides having very detailed instructions on how to fix the E74 error as well as other errors like freezing, on the Internet. These guides aren’t expensive as their cost is around $30. They don’t require you to be technically savvy, they only need few household tools and about 2 hours of your time.
